Clesud, the Logistics Centre of Southern Europe, a land-based hub of some 700 acres, brings together :

• a warehousing space and facilities centre covering 550 acres,
• a mixed-technology site for the combined rail-road transport on over 150 acres.

The total marketable surface is around 400 acres, 215 acres of which (the 1st block) in the town of Miramas and 185 acres (2nd block) on the territory of the town of Grans.

Long term, 600,000 m2 of warehouse space will be able to process 9 million tonnes of freight. This capacity makes it one of the largest logistics hubs in France and in Europe.

From the already operational rail branch line, the combined transport mixed-technology site with its four, 3-track handling yards will have a capacity of 210,000 rail trucks per annum. During the initial phase of the project, one 3-track handling yard will be capable of processing 60,000 rail trucks per annum, equivalent to 800,000 tons of freight.
