Subsidiary of the Pinault-Printemps-La Redoute Group, Rexel is the world leader in the distribution of electrical equiment. Rexel has a turnover of 7,958 million Euros. Present in 35 countries with 1 900 sales outlets, Rexel employs 25 000 people.
So as to extend its range of available products, optimise its delivery schedules and provide a better supply chain to its branches, the group uses « new generation » logistics centres with a surface area of 15,000 to 25,000 m2, real « delivery plants » which provide storage for 40,000 to 50,000 references.
At Clésud, Rexel has installed one of the 9 regional logistics centres programmed in the context of its development plan for France. The 17,000 m² warehous has been operational since June 2001. The company currently employs 90 people on the site.
